Around and Back Travel, Inc. referred to as A&B will do all possible to protect the personal information you provide. This site is intended for persons who are residents in the USA and who are above 18 years of age. Personal information is not collected as you browse our site without the registration procedure, but it is collected when you register with us, request further information, and when you reserve a journey and make payments. We will use your personal information to facilitate communications with you and assist you with your travel plans. We may use your personal information for our own market research. We may share your personal information with law enforcements agencies to protect the rights of A&B, to investigate reports of suspected illegal activity, to investigate electronic sending of material by means of a false email address, to investigate users sending abusive or harassing messages, to investigate unauthorized uses of the A&B website, and to assist law enforcement during a criminal investigation.
When you use this website, we use ?cookies? to offer best services. A cookie only identifies your computer and not you personally. You use a session cookie which are temporary cookie files when you enter the website, and these are erased when you close your browser. This agreement is governed by and in accordance with the laws of New York State. If any provision of this agreement shall be unlawful, unenforceable or void, then that provision shall be deemed severable from this agreement and shall not affect the enforceability and validity of any remaining provision. This agreement cannot be modified except in writing and signed by both parties.
Around and Back Travel (as defined herein and also referred to as A&B) will provide leisure and culturally enriching tours as outlined in our description on our website (aroundandbacktravel.com). A&B, its officers, directors, shareholders employees and agents and tour leaders do not own or operate any property or entity which is meant to or does provide goods or services for travel or travel tours. A&B purchases coach, train, vessel or other transportation, hotel and other lodging, restaurant and other services from independent suppliers who are independent contractors. The passenger ticket used and or provided by all carriers or providers of services is the only contract between the passenger and the service provider. A&B therefore is, without limitation, not liable for any injury, death, delay, inconvenience, damage to persons and property, financial or physical loss in connection with goods and services. A&B is not responsible for any loss resulting from acts of God or force majeure, from illness, disease, theft, food poisoning, civil unrest, revolt, acts of war, strikes or labor disputes and activities, criminal or terrorist acts, overbooking and or downgrading of services, mechanical or other failures of any form of transportation to depart or arrive on schedule. The participant waives any claim against A&B for any loss, damage, injury or death.
By registering for a Tour, the participant certifies that he/she doesn't have any mental, physical or other disability that would be a hazard for that participant or others. A&B reserves the option to modify or change the published itinerary when conditions warrant, or it becomes necessary for the safety, comfort or for other needs of participants. Baggage and personal effects are at all times the responsibility of the participant unless assigned to independent contractors.
ANY PAYMENT TO A&B CONSTITUTES THAT YOU EXPRESSLY ACCEPT THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENTS IN THEIR ENTIRETY. ANY PAYMENT TO A&B EXPRESSLY ACCEPTS YOU READ AND AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND RESPONSIBILITY AND LEGAL STATEMENT DOCUMENTS AND ALL SECTIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT.
Refunds are not made for any missed services, tours or meals. Late arrival or missing any activity on the itinerary, for any reason, will not constitute cause or result in any refund. Clients whom choose not to participate or avail themselves of any of the services included in the program for any reason will not be refunded for services not used.
A&B reserves the right to take photographs and video during the Tour and to use them for promotional purposes. By booking a Tour, the participant agrees to allow such video and photographic images to be used. Participants who elect not to have their images used are asked to identify themselves at the beginning of the Tour.
All prices are per person based on two persons sharing a double occupancy room. Single occupancy requests usually incur a surcharge for the single room and availability is on a first come first served basis. We will assist persons requesting a roommate. Although it is a rare and not expected occurrence, published prices may be modified due to unexpected, significant and unexpected and not forecasted events as a significant foreign currency event. A&B will do everything possible to maintain the listed prices but reserves the right to levy a surcharge with notification at the time of final invoicing.
Our prices are quoted in Euros. This is because the price, if quoted in dollars would, because of currency fluctuations, change from deposit to final payment. Your Euro payment made by credit card, PayPal, and wire transfer will be calculated by the banks automatically.
Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the entire Tour.
While most locations in Italy have excellent streets, the antiquity of some sites and pathways may have modest inclines and some of these may be uneven with earthy, pebbly or cobblestone surfaces. It is suggested our guests be able to stroll at an average pace and be able to climb stairs.
All major credit cards, PayPal, and checks are accepted forms of payment. Check should be made to Around and Back Travel, Inc. A reservation for a Tour requires a ?1000.00 (one thousand euros) deposit per person. Final payment is due 90 days prior to departure. Full payment is required if the reservation is made within 90 days to departure.
Cancellations 120 days prior to departure or more: Refund 100% of deposit fee
Cancellations 91-119 days prior to departure: Full refund minus 50% of deposit fee
Cancellations 45-90 days prior to departure: 50% of the Tour cost
Cancellations 44 or fewer days prior to departure: 100% of the Tour cost
All cancellations must be received in writing and will become effective as of the postmark date. A Participants late arrival at the beginning of the tour or a departure from a tour in progress for any Reason will not be cause for a refund. A&B may cancel a specific tour for insufficient enrollment or because of good faith concerns for the health or safety of the participants. There is a full refund if a tour is cancelled before departure except in the event the cancellation is due to an event that A&B deems unsafe or impractical to operate in which case a refund or credit will be issued for a future tour of equivalent value. If A&B cancels a tour it has no responsibility for any expense by participants for arrangements for those leaving the tour before the group departure date.
The services of a tour leader, all guides during the scheduled events, all accommodations and hotel taxes, all meals listed in the itinerary (B=Breakfast, L=Lunch, D=Dinner), all entrance fees and sightseeing fees, lectures, all coach and boat trips as included in the Itinerary, all ground transportation during the scheduled tour.
International airfares and airport taxes, Passport applications and fees, Visa fees, health and or accident insurance, tour cancellation insurance, activities that are listed as optional, personal expenses, shopping expenses or Hotel extras that are not included in our program, telephone calls, meals and beverages other than those listed, alcoholic beverages, excess baggage fees, laundry and all items not specifically listed or included in the tour payment. Not included are luxury or suite hotel accommodations and or upgrades which may be available on request for an added charge. Special requests as connecting rooms, bedding requests, and smoking rooms cannot be guaranteed but every effort will be made to secure it. Gratuities, subject to the participants satisfaction, are customary for the tour leader, Local Tour Guides and Coach Drivers that accompany the participants.
A&B reserves the right to make itinerary and staff changes.
Participants are responsible for obtaining a valid passport and any other document needed for international travel. Passports must be valid for at least 3 months after the participant plans to return home.
Participants must be in good physical and mental health. Any physical, diet or special needs must be reported in writing when the reservation is made to confirm we can accommodate that need. All participants may encounter stairs, uneven surfaces, cobblestones or steep passages. A physically challenged person will need the services of a trained adult for assistance. Please notify us of any special need at booking so we may confirm we are able to provide the participant with those services. We may be able to provide full time trained local adult assistants to our participants at a charge for those services.
A&B cannot and is unable to be responsible for the care of a participants who becomes unable to care for themselves. A&B will refer the participant to a locally licensed physician and or health facility and or hospital with the participant?s authorization for all necessary or requested care. The participant agrees to pay all costs of medical services or rescue as may be needed. A&B strongly suggests participants have medical insurance to cover personal medical expenses, medical evacuation and air ambulance for personal accidents and all other expenses which might result from injury, delay or loss of any nature during the tour.
We believe those planning trips abroad should consider the suitability of travel and health insurance from the insurance carrier of their choice.
All disputes, claims or controversies relating to this agreement or website or any literature relating to a tour which is meant to include termination, breach, interpretation, validity, or scope of the agreement, shall be determined by binding arbitration in Nassau County, NY under the CPR International Non-Administered Arbitration Rules (refer to cpradr.org), before a single arbitrator appointed by CPR. Each party shall bear its own fees, costs and expenses and an equal share of all arbitrator and administrative fees. The participant and A&B agree that each may bring claims against the other only in the participant?s or individual capacity and not as a class member in any class or multi-claimant proceeding.
